Helping ministry leaders and believers live anchored in Christ
A Welcome from the Founder
Welcome to Anchored Worship Collective. If you’re a worship leader/pastor, other ministry leader, or Christ-follower longing for deeper spiritual health and sustainable rhythms, I’m glad you’re here. After more than 30 years in worship ministry, I’ve learned that leadership flows best from a soul anchored in Christ—not from pressure or performance. This ministry exists to create space for coaching, refreshment or spiritual direction, and encouragement so leaders can serve from overflow rather than just routine—or even worse, exhaustion. Whether you’re seeking guidance, soul care, or simply someone to walk alongside you, I would be honored to connect with you on the journey.
Vision
To be a Christ-centered ministry that integrates worship and soul care, equipping worshipers and leaders to live anchored in God’s presence and lead others from renewed, healthy souls.
Core Values
Christ-Centered Anchoring: Jesus is our true anchor; everything points back to Him.
Healthy Leadership: Leaders thrive when they lead from overflow—a full cup.
Attentiveness to God’s Presence: We cultivate a listening life, learning to recognize and respond to God’s movement and invitation.
Whole-Person Soul Care: Worship flows from the inner life—rhythms of silence, rest, and reflection are essential.
Worship as a Way of Life: Worship extends beyond music and gatherings into a daily life of love, obedience, creativity, and devotion.
His passion for worship as a way of life, not just a Sunday expression, led him to the Pacific School of Worship in Langley, British Columbia—an immersive two-year program in theology, spiritual formation, worship leadership, and soul care. This season solidified his calling to help leaders grow in both heart and skill, shaping ministries rooted in intimacy with God.
In 1996, Hersh became Worship Pastor at Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church (McBIC), a role he held for 27 years. There he developed leaders, launched and led a seven-year initiative called Inspire Worship, and modeled a ministry culture that values healthy rhythms, intentional development, and Spirit-led excellence.
In 2025, Hersh transitioned into pastoral care and counseling and began certification as a spiritual director. Today he blends soul care, spiritual formation, and worship coaching to help leaders in Central PA and beyond serve from a place of overflow—anchored, renewed, and deeply connected to God.
